Oahu, an island worth visiting
Being Hawaii’s third largest island and home to its capital Honolulu, Oahu offers many tourist attractions and things to do.
Why visit Oahu? There are many reasons why it is an island worth visiting. For one thing, it offers an interesting culture and historical background as well as white sandy beaches and beautiful landscapes. It’s a surfer’s paradise where you can take lessons as a beginner or get on your board and ride the waves as an experienced surfer at beaches such as the Sunset Beach, Ehukai Beach Park or Waikiki Beach. Other attractions are the golf courses, shopping malls, villas and resorts.
Kahuku, situated on the North Shore of Oahu, is where you can find golf courses such as the Palmer Course or the Fazio Course at the Turtle Bay Resort. Artisans working on handicraft items can be watched at the Kahuka Mill Shopping Center, and you can also find some surfing beaches here as well. The Turtle Bay Resort is a sprawling 880 acres providing luxurious rooms plus all the amenities and services from tennis club, fitness center and spa to helicopter transports. Tourists can stay at the Hale Kai Villa which offers a secluded location being on a peaceful cove on the North Shore, away from the beach and the crowd. It offers spacious bedrooms and living area great for small groups and families including exclusive use of the amenities at Turtle Bay Resort. The best thing is that it offers a nice open view of the sea.
A nice white sandy beaches and beautiful landscapes, hope I visit them soon.
