Too bad, Mambukal doesn’t have an online booking website unlike the usual high-tech travel websites with reservations tool for hotel and vacation packages, cheap airline tickets or car rentals services. Mambukal Resort is operated by the province of Negros Occidental and the resort booking and reservation with downpayment is better done at their office located in the Provincial Capitol building.
Reservations and Inquiries
Mambukal Reservation Office (at Provincial Capitol): +63 34 709-0990 / +63 34 433-8516
Mambukal Resort: +63 34 473-0610
The resort offers modest lodging facilities, so don’t expect any luxury or modern accommodations here. I am not sure if the resort offers travel deals and discount for big groups or long term stay, but they do give 20% discount for senior citizens. Just be sure to present your official senior citizen ID before paying, otherwise you forfeit your discount especially if the cashier already gave you the official receipt.
Mambukal Resort is located in the municipality of Murcia and is about 45 minutes drive from Bacolod City.

Hi Chino, that’s good to know…hope you’ll enjoy your visit in Mambukal. We recently had some friends from Europe who stayed overnight at one of the family cottages fronting the boating lagoon. They had positive reviews of the resort and particularly enjoyed their trek to the seventh falls and back.
ask lng po kn anu po ba yung email add ng mambukal..tnx
Hi Melody, sorry I don’t know Mambukal’s email address. 🙁
Tubong talisay guid ko and now based in cebu but time to time ga puli pa mn ko sa talisay. never been there sa mambukal i dont know how to go there. if i travel cebu-bacolod via don salvador i always passed that sign “this way to mambukal” weeh.. t’was so near yet so far.. hope i can visit there this summer.
Hi Joebz! You should visit Mambukal then, being a Negrense. It’s so easy to go there. In Bacolod, there’s a jeepney terminal (not sure if it’s in Libertad though) where you can see jeepneys and minibuses bound for Mambukal. Just hop on any of them, you’ll be there in less than an hour. 🙂 Thanks for the visit!
is the tourist lodge good for two pax?
Hi Nish, I think they have rooms good for two or more in the tourist lodge. Please inquire from them to be sure:
Reservation: (034) 433-8516 / (034) 709-0990
Resort: (034) 473-0610
Thanks for the visit! 🙂
good day!
inquire lng po..magkanu hotel nyu every day?
hope to hear from you soonest.
thanks
Hi Jane, the rates are given above, in the Accommodation section. You can also contact Mambukal Resort to be sure. The numbers are given above. Thanks for dropping by!
I have visited mambukal last 2010 and we stayed in a room that can accommodate 20person.. so i would just like to ask if how much is that room ?? thank you and God speed..††
Jowie, I think you meant the tourist lodge where they have a dormitory type of room. I am not familiar with the current rates for that one. Please call Mambukal Resort to get the updated rates. Their numbers are listed above.
ung worth 1000 na suites sa tourist good for ilang persons yun? tnx! more power
Hello Suzette, sorry, we haven’t stayed in the tourist lodge, so I have no idea about your query. If you are coming as a group, the LGU cottages offer more flexibility in terms of accommodation (they have 4 single beds in one unit, or you can opt for queen size bed, etc.) and they’re located near the resort facilities. Anyway, please call the resort instead, the numbers are given above. Thanks for dropping by!
Wow, Mambukal is truly a nature wonder. Have just been there yesterday until today. We checked in at the house fronting the lagoon. We tried almost all the activities, the hot spring, and the trek to seven falls where we dip at the 7th falls that is truly refreshing. All of us really had a great time there and we’re hoping for more returns. Best of all, nilibre lang kami ng retired manager namin. Wow.
Hi Marco, it’s good you were able to maximize your stay in Mambukal… at libre pa! 🙂
hello i just wanna ask if is it OK if we will get the LGU 4 single beds only? We are group of friends more or less 20 person. What we gonna do there is Team building so it’s an outdoor activity all we need to have is a room for our personal things. Is it okay? 🙂
Hi Jinze, I think it’s OK, but to be sure, just call the resort; the numbers are given above. 🙂
how many persons are allowed to stay in the dormitory??… what about the CR?? pls reply asap! thanks
Hi Rachael, so sorry I don’t have an idea about that. Please call Mambukal resort, their numbers are provided above.
GOOD DAY!
HI I JUST WANNA ASK YUNG TOURIST LODGE NYO AIRCON BA?
Please call Mambukal at (034) 4338516 during office hours from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
hi ma’am good morning.. im planning to go in mambukal this weekend, but im checking first if that tourist lodge is good for how many persons po ba? cz dlawa po kc kaming ba-byahe.. thank you 🙂
Hi Weng! Sorry, I don’t have any idea about the tourist lodge, we only stayed in one of the LGU cottages. The info posted here is from their brochure tariff rates. It may not be the recent info. I suggest you to please contact Mambukal directly for your query, I gave the numbers above. Enjoy your stay in Mambukal.
kailangan pa ba ng reservation kahit hndi peak season..planning to go there tommow july 18,2012
Hi Mel, it’s a risk kasi if you don’t have a reservation. But since it’s not peak travel season, chances are you will get a room. The resort specified it in their brochure to have a reservation, just to be sure.
hello po! tanong ko lng po pag-overnyt stay po ba with family libre na ung entrance sa lahat ng pool? ty.
Hi Fritz, if you get an accommodation, you get free use of pool depending on the number of max. guests allocated for that accommodation. For instance, we each got tickets for the swimming pool and dipping pool when we stayed overnight at the LGU cottage. Just inquire from the staff for the details.
Hi just wanna ask yung mga prizes nakalagay updated ba yan?i’m planning to go at mambukal after 2 weeks..
Hi Honzey, for updated rates please call their reservation office na lang, the numbers are given in this post.
thank you po..:)
god bless..
Hi Rina, as posted above, check-in time is at 2:00 PM and check-out time is at 12:00 NN, so 22 hours ang stay per room.
For the tourist lodge, please inquire from the reservation na lang for the maximum number of persons. I posted the numbers above.
how to go to mambukal if i’m in ma-ao negros occidental? i need your answers now. i want to go tomorrow coz i will leaving on monday. and i want my stay here in bacolod to be memorable. hope there is someone who can help me. thank you.
Hi, sorry for the late reply… been really busy. I’m not sure about trips from Maao to Mambukal. Maybe there are available transpo from Maao bus terminal direct to Mambukal? Or you can also go to Bago then get on a minibus to Mambukal.
hi., we’re planning to be there by the end of next month. can you please post pictures of your cottages? we’re planning to rent a cottage., pero we’re 9 in a group., ok lang ba yun., hindi ba kmi magsisiksikan.? thanx.,
Hi Jo, you can read more info and view more pics about the family cottage here: http://www.happysteps.net/2011/11/26/overnight-stay-at-mambukal-mountain-resort/ It can accommodate 6 pax up to 10 pax (with additional fee), with two bedrooms, kitchen, dining and a nice view of the boating lagoon. The LGU cottages can only accommodate up to 4 pax. They also have dormitory accommodation up to 20 pax, but with very basic facilities.
