Italy on my mind

One of the places in Europe which I want to visit again is Italy with its beautiful architecture and romantic ambiance. Don’t you just wish you’re on a European holiday and staying in one of those luxurious Italy hotels with your loved ones? My training companions and I stayed in Milan and were housed in fully-furnished rooms at walking distance to shops and stores. Thus we would usually tour around a bit after our classes.

Milan offers a lot of tourist attractions and the most memorable for me was the majestic Milan Cathedral with its detailed moldings, colorful stained glass windows and towering spires. Other places of interest in Milan are the Castello Sforzesco and the Leonardo da Vinci Museum. Anyway, there are numerous Milan hotels to suit any tourist’s budget.

While in Italy, we also had a chance to spend a day in romantic Venice where we visited some famous landmarks such as the Piazza San Marco and enjoyed a gondola ride, though we didn’t stay in any Venice hotels but slept in the train on our way back. My next dream destination in Italy is Rome where the Colosseum, the Vatican and Trevi Fountain are must-see places for me. For now, I am just imagining myself staying in one of those comfy Rome hotels, lounging at the pool after a day’s tour of the city. 🙂
