How about winning a holiday trip?
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Dove Ice Cream. All opinions are 100% mine.
I’ve been busy these days catching up on loads of pending tasks. Whew! How I wish I’d have some extra time off for a nice holiday getaway, but that would cause a dent on my savings again as I have other financial priorities to consider.
Oh well, if you’re like me who’s dreaming of a holiday somewhere and don’t have extra budget for travel, you might want to join the “My Mini Moment” contest courtesy of Dove Ice Cream. One of their mini-grand prizes is a mini-getaway to scenic Napa Valley. Now doesn’t the word “free” make it more appealing? The contest came about as a way for Dove Ice Cream to celebrate “Me-time” as important and cherished moments for their consumers.
I’m sure travel enthusiasts wouldn’t want to miss this chance of winning a holiday trip to Napa Valley.
Here are the simple steps to join the contest:
1. Log on to the “My Mini Moment” official website at http://doveicecream.com/myminimoment/ and register.
2. Upload your photo showing your favorite “mini escape” and write a corresponding mini-essay about your photo, describing why it is your favorite mini escape.
3. Only one entry per person.
4. Deadline for entries will be on June 7, 2010.
5. Contest is open to US residents only.
More information about the official rules of the contest such as the selection of finalists, public voting, selection of grand prize winner and other important details can be read here: https://sweepstakes.mars.com/dove_icecream/mini_moment/8_rules.asp
If the lucky winner is not that enthusiastic about travel, she can opt for the other two mini-grand prizes such as Spa services for a year or a mini-home makeover. The winner can only choose one mini-grand prize, thus it really depends on what her idea of the ultimate mini-escape would be, whether she loves to travel, or to be pampered or to have a home makeover.
I wish more people would give away free trips! In the long run it will pay off well by word of mouth! I am sure people would blog about, write articles, and be featured or more travel sites. Sounds like a great way to boost business all around.
