Grand Prix Du Canada 2008
What’s up in Canada next month? My cousin who’s based in this country famous for its Niagara Falls told me that it is gearing up for the Canadian Grand Prix 2008. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the event to be held at the legendary circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal on June 6-8, 2008. The open house will be on Thursday June 5th from 9 in the morning till 1 in the afternoon. Lots of grand prix fans from all over the country and even abroad are expected to watch the show. It would be great to watch this exciting show but I’ve already made my own travel plans to Europe.
Anyway, hotels will definitely be jam-packed and Montreal will be bustling with activities. Aside from the sports event, guests can enjoy sight seeing as they walk through the cobblestoned streets. The night life in the city is also something worth experiencing. Don’t forget to try out their eclectic cuisine and shop for souvenirs in the numerous boutiques lining along the streets too.
To avoid last minute rush, it’s best to book early in any Montreal Hotels so you can choose the best rooms. Check out the Delta Centre-Ville Hotel located right in the heart of downtown Montreal which is a walking distance from shops, restaurants and other stores. Whether you’re in Montreal for the grand prix or simply relaxing in the city, having a great accommodation makes your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
