Going on a shopping trip online or at the malls

I just can’t get enough of my recent trip to the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) last month. Aside from the spacious halls and lengthy corridors which could be easily tiring, we were not able to tour the whole compound since we were always pressed with time and would even go home at the closing hour. Since I will be in Manila for my visa application next week, I am looking forward to visiting MOA again. It’s a one-stop food and shopping paradise for tourists and travel bugs being one of the largest malls in Asia.

Whenever we go shopping at the malls, Dad would always hangout at the hardware section, his favorite spot for browsing around tools and accessories. He’s fond of looking for something new to fix whatever is broken at home and for tidying up and organizing – from cable ties to plumbing fittings. DIY hardware stores are good places to shop for guys who are looking for carpentry tools and accessories, electric drills, vacuum cleaners, PVC containers or cable ties for all projects. Dad’s not an expert on online shopping unlike those techie guys who know it’s easy to browse in the Internet for computer and electronic stuff or buy cable ties online. Sometimes, it can be tiring to walk along the numerous rows of items on display, thus shopping online is an alternative.

For us ladies, we usually hangout in the shoes and clothing section whenever we drop by malls, though I’m also fond of going to the houseware section to check out on some cool kitchen stuff and home essentials. Anyway, I expect to visit the SM Mall of Asia again, I still need to buy some clothes, toiletries, souvenirs, gifts and other travel essentials to bring with us on our trip. I also want to take more pictures of the mall too.

Malaysians love their shopping malls..in recent years we have seen a mushroom of malls in suburbs and expansion of major malls in the city and suburbs.

I am ok with malls bt would rather hit the beach or something for some relaxation…which is not nearly as possible. The nearest beach is like couple of hrs away and with our local traffic…i’ll probably as well hit the mall.

My Bug Life: Haven’t been to Malaysia yet… so i’m curious about visiting the malls there too, and sampling your ice kacang! 🙂
