Childcare on the Mountains: A Guide to Children’s Clubs
Winter ski holidays with the kids can be an awesome way to spend quality time together, but sometimes, you may wish to head for the slopes without them in tow so that you can master your skills without sticking to the nursery slopes. You shouldn’t feel bad for this either – that’s what children’s clubs are for! Whether you’re heading to the mountains as part of an all-inclusive deal from http://www.neilson.co.uk/ski/ski-inclusive or you’re staying in a luxury chalet with your whole family, a skiing break is something that can appeal to all.
Children’s clubs
When the kids are in the children’s clubs, you can be free to enjoy some adult time on the mountain, before heading out as one big family later on. Simple!
Whatever their age, there will be a Neilson children’s club that will suit them – a club that will provide them with plenty of entertainment to keep boredom at bay.
Snowman Club
Perfect for children aged 2 to 4, the snowman club can provide up to 6 days of full care, including lunch, snacks and drinks. Plenty of entertainment is included, both indoor and outdoor, including snowman building, sledging, arts and crafts and dressing up.
Snowbusters
For the older kids, aged between 5 and 12, the Snowbusters Club can provide up to 6 full days of care when your little one isn’t in ski school. Drop off and pick up services exist so that you don’t have to worry about the transfer, and activities are plentiful and varied, including group activities, board games and tobogganing. Evening entertainment is also available two evenings a week, which can include movie nights and meals out.
For many, the point of a family holiday is so that everyone can spend time as a unit but sometimes, it’s not always possible. Ski holidays should be enjoyed both on and off the mountain and with kids clubs, you can do just that.
nice idea Carey, actually, I’ve seen some parents do that and their kids I believe are having a time of their life just like the parents too 🙂
Hi Carey, I like your article. Child care is important especially having holidays outdoors.
Parents should guide their children to avoid accidents to fully enjoy the holidays.
