Cebu Pacific Airlines promo fare: May 26-28 sale period for July 1-September 30, 2010 travel period

Dubbed as “The best Bai!” promo, I bet travel bugs would be excited to know about the latest travel deal from the country’s top budget airline, Cebu Pacific Air.
Anyway, here are the promo rules:
Sale Period: May 26-28, 2010
Travel Period: July 1-September 30, 2010
Fares are non-refundable.
Limited availability.
Fares are exclusive of government fees and taxes.
Flight changes must be made more than 24 hours before scheduled time of departure.
I’m thankful that the promo was just in time for a planned family trip to Cebu. Thus, I didn’t waste time making an online purchase for my ticket via the Cebu Pacific website. I bought a round trip plane ticket Bacolod-Cebu-Bacolod and was lucky to get a promo fare for my return trip. My roundtrip ticket cost me Php 1877.92 with Bacolod-Cebu as regular fare with GO Lite (no check-in baggage) and Cebu-Bacolod as promo fare with check-in baggage. It could have been much cheaper had I bought my ticket last week.
The ongoing “The best Bai!” promo ends tomorrow, so you have to decide fast on an upcoming trip. With so many travellers during summer, it would be better if you get your tickets earlier, i.e. at least one month before departure when most of the fares are still low.
Note: “Bai” is a Visayan dialect for friend or buddy.
