Bring the outdoors into your home
Travel bugs are fond of going places, and for them, the best places for vacation are the beaches and mountains, where they can be with nature to have that much-needed R&R.
Those who are busy though and can’t have their vacation yet could use their creativity and imagination to bring the outdoors inside. How? Just make your home interior look like one of those log cabins in the mountains or a beach resort cottage, lol. Yup, bringing nature into your home can make you feel as if you’re on vacation.
To bring the outdoors into your home, just include the following indoors:
1. Rustic furniture
I like this rustic bedroom furniture setup with the comfortable Sunburst king-sized cedar log bed which contributes to an overall garden ambiance.
2. Indoor plants
3. Natural materials such as stone, wood, water, etc.
4. Nature-inspired accent pieces and decors
5. Use earth colors such as browns and greens
Anything else to add? 🙂
Anyway, I’m getting excited for an upcoming trip, but for now, I’d just use my imagination and dream I’m somewhere on vacation before the real thing happens.

very cool idea Carey, hope you enjoy your next trip. Since we live close to the beach, our vacation is always to the mountains hiking, but if the mountain is right next to the beach, makes it even better 🙂
what a brilliant idea, especially now that the rainy season has arrived. Anyways, where will you go on your upcoming trip?
Thanks for sharing. I often times dream of having a more outdoors feeling, especially having moved to the city.
What a great idea. Looks like an easy way to really enjoy the comforts and conveniences of home, but feel like you’re away!
