Art work in transit
Guess what made a trip all the way from Finland to the Philippines? It’s a Valentine’s Day card from my little niece Anzel. My Dad was surprised to receive something like this in the mail – with no name or signature and no addressee inside the card but just some cut-out hearts pasted on it. Anyway, Anzel’s mommy (my big sis) didn’t even know how it was sent but she said it might have been part of their school project. Nevertheless it was heartwarming to receive a handmade greeting card such as this which made such a long travel from faraway Europe. At least the material used was just an ordinary paper so it was not that much of a concern with being damaged during transit.
For valuable paintings and other art works, the quality could diminish if they’re not properly handled during shipment. Getting help from the professionals on art storage and shipment is needed when transporting those fragile art treasures. Moving companies such as Mind’s Eye do more than just driving and moving items, their vehicles are temperature-controlled and equipped with GPS tracking and two-way communication. Added features such as these ensure safety during transit and keeping the quality of art items intact. Museums and art collectors who don’t want to forgo the quality of their art pieces usually get the services of fine art movers.
“Great post! Crikvenica sounds like an amazing destination for a family vacation. I’d love to hear more about the activities…
