A new template for my travel blog?

It’s been nine months already for happysteps.net and I am happy that this blog has been a venue for my ideas and musings about travel. Though I am not always going on a vacation or tour to some of the world’s famous travel destinations, I consider my trips away from home as something worth sharing in this blog.

Anyway, I am thankful for the nine months that has been and am looking forward to this blog’s first anniversary and the rest of the years to come. As I was musing about this, the idea of changing my blog’s template came up again. Actually it has been on my mind for a long time now. I really wish I could have more time to give my blog a new look or even do some tweaking on the sidebar and add some widgets.

Another thing that’s been bugging me is transferring my blog to another web hosting company. For those who plan on getting their own domains and finding a cheap web hosting company, it is best to ask for recommendations from friends and do some research. According to one of the web hosting articles I’ve read, there are 3 things to consider when finding cheap web hosting – check out valid testimonials from existing customers, bad customers sharing the same server and long term benefits.

More informative articles can be browsed over at webhostingrating.com where you can learn from their guides and tips such as how to choose a good cheap web hosting provider. They will be launching soon their ‘Top Ten Best Web Hosts’ from among the many web hosting plans under $10 per month as rated by the customers. Customers staying with their web host provider for two years or more indicate good service. No downtime from the servers makes us happy customers and bloggers indeed.

I do agree that any trips (short or long) away from home is worth blogging…it needn’t just be travels to world famous places, but if there’s any opportunity to share, well shall blog abt it. If not, I am happy just sharing my travel stories right in my own country. I have discovered lotsa of places worth seeting that I have missed out on before..:D

I am also in search of a good templates. But, could not agree on any one of it. Can you focus on some blog templates and one more thing I would like to ask you is where can I get a .com domain in cheap rate?
