One of the places to visit in Europe is Portugal attracting over 12.8 million tourists worldwide with most of them coming from the UK, Spain and Germany. Hmmm…not much from Asia, huh? Maybe because we’re too far from Europe and it really needs longer vacation period for trips to places such as this to make the most of your time and budget.

Lisbon, the Algarve and Madeira are some of the popular destinations in Portugal though there are new tourist spots being developed such as the Douro Valley, Porto Santo Island and Alentejo, and many other emerging tourism areas. It would be nice to drop by the Madeira Islands particularly at Porto Santo which is known for its 9 km beach.

Tourists can choose from many Portugal hotels to suit their lifestyle – whether they’re looking for budget Lisbon hotels or luxurious Algarve hotels. Those looking for some beach vacations can opt to stay in some Madeira hotels and resorts particularly at Porto Santo.
