3D/2N Stay at 357 Boracay in Station 3

Having three odd numbers for a hotel name can make one curious enough to check it out, not to mention it is a multi-awarded resort with positive reviews from popular travel sites. Thus 357 Boracay was one of the many options my sis considered when she was busy searching for a place to stay for a 3D/2N family vacation in Boracay. After contacting other beach resorts in Boracay, she finally decided and booked for two rooms at 357. Looking back, it was a good choice indeed, and we really enjoyed our stay in that hotel.

357 Boracay is located in Station 3 of Boracay Island. It is a beachfront hotel, so you can have your coffee at the lobby while enjoying an idyllic view of the beach which is just few steps ahead.

Upon our arrival, we were met with cool refreshing welcome drinks at the outdoor cafe/lobby while they prepared our rooms.

If you prefer to have a quiet and laidback Boracay beach vacation at a less-expensive budget, such as one of those cheap holidays to lanzarote, then Station 3 is for you. It is not as crowded and noisy as Station 2 where the island’s shopping and dining establishments are concentrated; and most of the room rates in Station 3 are more affordable than most of the luxury hotels in Station 1.

357 Boracay can be considered as a charming little boutique hotel with only 10 well-appointed guest rooms. This means, the staff can readily provide attention to their guests’ needs. I also like how this quaint hotel adds a touch of creativity to its furnishings and decors which are mostly handcrafted and made of indigenous materials.

The hotel rates are reasonably priced, rooms are clean, bed sheets and towels are changed daily. Beach towels are also provided upon request. We stayed at the Kamia and Sampaguita rooms. Each room has a sliding glass door that opens to a veranda. I was quite amused with how the hotel presents their rooms with the towels shaped into a heart depicting two swans. Some may find it cute though, but not me. 😛 The next day they arranged and shaped the new towels in water lily form.

Our rooms were in the second floor, but climbing up the stairs was not a hassle because it was well-designed to provide comfort even for senior citizens. My 70-ish mom swears she didn’t feel like she was climbing up to the next floor level, each stair step was designed at just the right height.

The hotel restaurant serves deliciously prepared food at reasonable rates. You can actually just have your meals in 357 if you don’t feel like walking to Station 2 where most fast food joints, bars and restos are located. We had our breakfast delivered to my sister’s room and had a hearty family meal at the veranda. What a relaxing way to wake up and be ready for the day’s activities.

During our stay, the friendly hotel owners were there as they had an upcoming big event for the weekend, and most of their family and close friends came to stay as well. They never failed to greet their guests with a smile or strike up a conversation whenever they chanced upon them at the lobby. The members of the hotel staff were polite and accommodating as well.

Our 3D/2N Boracay vacation was truly memorable, thanks to 357 Boracay for making it a stress-free and comfortable one for us. I can’t think of any inconvenience experienced during our stay in this hotel. The only thing we were apprehensive about was the resort policy of full payment upon booking confirmation as most hotels require only downpayment to reserve a room. It was quite a risk on our part, paying in full for the 3D2N stay a month before, but since we enjoyed our stay, it was definitely worth it.

All in all, 357 Boracay is a hotel-resort I highly recommend for those who wish to experience Boracay in a quiet and relaxed beach atmosphere at budget-friendly rates.
