Walk on water – photo by star5112 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/johnjoh/)
The calm blue waters, the clear blue sky, the family strolling along the pathway while there are some rowboats in the background… such a peaceful early morning capture, it’s almost like a beach resort scene from Boracay or from one of those Florida holidays.
Clepsydra Geyser – photo by chuckyeager (http://www.flickr.com/photos/30046478@N08/)
The looming clouds and the Clepsydra Geyser’s eruption amidst the rough terrain make me feel like I am viewing an alien planet scene.
Castle Geyser Eruption – photo by Domenico Salvagnin (http://www.flickr.com/photos/dominiqs/)
This one’s another favorite geyser eruption scene. The numerous geysers in Yellowstone National Park are famous tourist attractions, such as the Old Faithful Geyser.
Yellowstone Swans – photo by Dag Peak (http://www.flickr.com/photos/dagpeak/)
This photo is a quiet and relaxing contrast to the previous geyser scenes. Yes, Yellowstone offers a diverse environment for nature lovers, from geyser eruptions to tranquil lakes. This beautiful picture with the swans and the grand view of the mountain landscape in the background makes this to my top favorites. You can appreciate more the beautiful details of the landscape when you click this photo to view it in a larger size.
Sapphire Pool – photo by Sean Naber (http://www.flickr.com/photos/seannaber/)
Blue and white. Two of my favorite colors and they’re so dominant in this picture. I love how the white fluffy clouds stood out in the deep blue sky. Anyway, this is one pool that you don’t want to swim in. 🙂
